Addressing most of the concerns raised here: emails have pretty much been scrapped entirely. If you've lost your username, just send an email with your email address, and I'll retrieve it for you.
We never really sent out emails anyway, and they were pretty useless. We'll likely never bring them back unless I get really bored someday and decide to spin up a mail server, we may have them only as an optional field to help prove account ownership in case you've lost your account. Emails are a real pain, especially when you're not using popular providers - which we can't and won't do, given the nature of the site.
I've fixed most of the issues mentioned here or mailed to me, and plan to address the rest that haven't been done. If you run into any other issues, feel free to keep adding them to this thread or send me an email.
Regarding images and GIFs in comments, that's only going to happen once we stabilize ad revenue. That's pretty much it. We're currently still running at a net deficit of at least a few thousand a month, based on the latest numbers. We were getting close to breaking even for a short while last month, but then the site got knocked out of Google's search results, and everything spiralled from there.
This is also why I'd kindly ask you to keep sharing the site wherever you can. It genuinely helps us stay afloat and gives us the funds to buy more content to upload, which is ultimately the end goal. :)
Hey, thanks for the update. It's really appreciated. There is an elephant in the room, and that being Tapas. I know Tapas is shutting down and has suspended updates to their comics; however, there were still about 4-6weeks of updates before then that Kagane never got. Will you be uploading those updates?

Please fix the login issue
As now after maintainance the email is replaced by username for the login
i just randomly used some known usernames to make it work for myself so
Can you please bring back the email and pass option for login as most of the time we dont remember the usernames
I had to do the opposite of my email didn’t work for me anymore. I had to go back to my username.
Would love a way to see if a series is already in my library without having to click on it. Like a colour change or icon

Edit: And we can search for groups too now!
Edit 2: I noticed that my Library isn't configured quite right. The counter says I only have 6 series but it displays 40. And my actual library seems to have become a list now with 176 series

I mean no offense... but the design for the UI and stuff doesn't look good on Desktop (there are also 2 different areas called "library" that are very inconsistent). Please add it to where we can go back to the old stuff.

The maintenance we announced earlier ran late, but it’s finished as of today. Sorry for the wait, and thanks for being patient while we sorted it out.
You may also have noticed that we moved domains yesterday, after kagane.to stopped working. We probably won’t go back to it. We may add a few backup domains over the next few days.
A lot changed during the maintenance. Instead of listing all of it, we’ll let you find it yourselves, and to give you time to look around and for us to fix any emerging issues, ads are off for the next 24 hours.

Since the move, a lot of regular readers haven’t found us again. Their bookmarks and saved links still point to kagane.to, which no longer loads, and some of them don’t know kagane.org exists.
If you know someone who reads here, please pass on the new address. For many of them, a message from you is the only way they’ll find out.
Thank you to everyone who has become a supporter. And for others, becoming a supporter isn’t the only way to help, though. Anyone can upload chapters a day after making an account, alone or as part of a group, and the requests page lists the series and chapters readers are waiting on if you need ideas.
If you have suggestions, leave them in the replies here. We won’t be able to answer everyone, but we’re hoping to get a decent chunk of them done this month and in November.
